The Facelift Infiltration Cannula with Luer Lock fitting is a blunt-tip, side-ported cannula used to deliver tumescent or wetting solution into the subcutaneous plane of the face and neck before facelift dissection, facial liposuction, or fat grafting. The Luer lock hub screws onto any standard Luer lock syringe or infiltration pump tubing set, so the cannula locks in place and will not blow off under pressure. It is used by plastic surgeons, facial plastic surgeons, and aesthetic clinics, and is supplied in bulk to distributors worldwide. See the full Facelift Infiltration Cannulas range for other fittings.
Surgeons also refer to this instrument as a Luer lock infiltrator cannula, a tumescent infiltration cannula, or a facial fat transfer cannula.
At a Glance
The Luer lock is the most common connection in aesthetic surgery. It is a threaded collar around a tapered male tip that screws into the matching female thread on a syringe or tubing set. Under manual syringe pressure or pump pressure, a slip fit can separate; a locked fit does not. This matters in facial infiltration because a disconnection mid-pass wastes solution and interrupts the plane the surgeon is developing.

The shaft and hub are made from German stainless steel with a passivated surface that resists corrosion through repeated autoclave cycles. The cannula is reusable and can be steam sterilized at 134°C. Flush the lumen and every side port with clean water immediately after use, because dried tumescent solution inside a narrow lumen is difficult to remove later and can block flow.
Pick diameter by tissue thickness and length by reach. For facelift and facial infiltration, 1.0mm to 1.5mm diameters in 5cm to 12cm lengths are the standard working range. For neck, submental and small body areas, move to 1.8mm to 2.5mm in 15cm to 25cm. Diameters of 3.0mm and above in 25cm to 35cm are for large-volume body infiltration and are not intended for facial work. If your theater uses 60cc Toomey syringes or a power-assisted handpiece instead of Luer lock syringes, choose the matching fitting from the range.

What is a Luer lock infiltration cannula used for?
It is used to inject tumescent or wetting solution into the subcutaneous tissue of the face, neck, or body before facelift dissection, liposuction, or fat grafting. The Luer lock hub screws onto a standard syringe or pump tubing set, and the blunt tip with side ports distributes the solution evenly through the tissue plane.
What is the difference between a Luer lock and a Luer slip fitting?
A Luer lock has a threaded collar that screws onto the syringe and holds under pressure; a Luer slip is a push fit held only by friction. For infiltration, the lock fitting is safer because tumescent solution is often injected under pressure, and a slip fit can separate mid-injection and spray solution instead of delivering it.
Is this Luer lock cannula autoclavable?
Yes. The cannula is fully reusable and can be steam autoclaved at 134°C. Flush the lumen and side ports with clean water immediately after use, remove all residue before sterilization, and dry the cannula completely. This protects the passivated stainless steel surface and keeps the hub thread clean and free-turning.
What is the minimum order quantity for bulk orders?
The minimum order quantity is agreed per order rather than set at a fixed number. Send us the sizes and quantities you need through the wholesale request page and we will confirm the minimum for that specification. This lets a small distributor start with a trial order and a larger importer scale up on the same terms.
Do you provide samples?
Yes. Samples are available on request and the buyer covers the shipping charges. Tell us the diameter and length you want to evaluate and we will confirm what can be sent. Testing a sample before a bulk order is the fastest way to check tip finish, port pattern and hub fit against your own syringes.
Can I order a custom size?
Yes. Custom diameters, working lengths, and port patterns are available on request in addition to the standard size grid. Send your specification through the wholesale request page and our production team will confirm what can be produced. Custom branding is also available for distributor and OEM orders.
