Material and Sterilization

The cannula is German stainless steel with a passivated, corrosion-resistant surface. It is reusable and steam autoclavable to 134°C. Flush the lumen and side ports immediately after use, and inspect the hub before every case: a hub used in a reciprocating handpiece takes repeated mechanical load, so any looseness or wear should take the instrument out of service.
