The MicroAire PAL Compatible Facelift Infiltration Cannula is a blunt-tip, side-ported cannula with a hub built to fit MicroAire PAL power-assisted handpieces, used to deliver tumescent or wetting solution into subcutaneous tissue before facelift dissection, liposuction, or fat grafting. Power-assisted infiltration moves the cannula in a small reciprocating stroke, so the solution spreads with less push from the surgeon's arm and with less drag through fibrous tissue. It is supplied to aesthetic surgery centers and in bulk to distributors worldwide. See the full Facelift Infiltration Cannulas range for other fittings.
Buyers also search for this instrument as a power-assisted infiltration cannula, a PAL compatible infiltrator, or a reciprocating infiltration cannula.
At a Glance
Power-assisted infiltration changes how force reaches the tissue. Instead of the surgeon pushing the cannula through the plane, the handpiece drives a short, fast reciprocating stroke and the cannula advances with far less applied force. In fibrous or previously operated tissue this reduces the effort needed for a controlled pass.

The cannula is German stainless steel with a passivated, corrosion-resistant surface. It is reusable and steam autoclavable to 134°C. Flush the lumen and side ports immediately after use, and inspect the hub before every case: a hub used in a reciprocating handpiece takes repeated mechanical load, so any looseness or wear should take the instrument out of service.
Order this fitting only if you already own a PAL power-assisted handpiece; the hub will not fit a syringe or a manual handle. If you infiltrate by hand, the Luer lock or fixed handle versions are the correct choice. Diameter and length follow the same rule as the rest of the range: 1.0mm to 1.5mm in 5cm to 12cm for facial work, 1.8mm to 2.5mm in 15cm to 25cm for neck and small body areas, 3.0mm and above for large-volume body infiltration.

What is a power-assisted infiltration cannula used for?
It is used to infiltrate tumescent or wetting solution into subcutaneous tissue when the cannula is driven by a reciprocating handpiece instead of by hand. The powered stroke advances the cannula through fibrous tissue with less applied force, which helps keep the pass controlled over large areas.
What is the difference between a power-assisted cannula and a manual infiltration cannula?
The shaft, blunt tip and side ports work the same way; the difference is the hub and the load it carries. A power-assisted hub locks into a reciprocating handpiece and is built for repeated mechanical stress, while a manual cannula connects to a syringe or a static handle and is advanced by the surgeon's own movement.
Is this cannula autoclavable?
Yes. The instrument is fully reusable and can be steam autoclaved at 134°C. Flush the lumen and every side port with clean water immediately after use, remove all residue before sterilization, and dry completely. Inspect the hub for wear or play at each cycle, because a powered fitting carries mechanical load a manual hub does not.
What is the minimum order quantity for bulk orders?
The minimum order quantity is agreed per order rather than set at a fixed number. Send us the sizes and quantities you need through the wholesale request page and we will confirm the minimum for that specification. This lets a small distributor start with a trial order and a larger importer scale up on the same terms.
Do you provide samples?
Yes. Samples are available on request and the buyer covers the shipping charges. Send us your handpiece details with the diameter and length you want to evaluate, and we will confirm what can be sent. Testing a sample in your own handpiece before a bulk order is strongly recommended for any powered fitting.
Can I order a custom size?
Yes. Custom diameters, working lengths, and port patterns are available on request in addition to the standard size grid. Send your handpiece details and specification through the wholesale request page and our production team will confirm what can be produced. Custom branding is also available for distributor and OEM orders.
