The Facelift Infiltration Cannula is a blunt-tip, side-ported cannula used to deliver tumescent or wetting solution into the subcutaneous plane of the face and neck before facelift dissection, facial liposuction, or fat grafting. Healermed supplies this cannula in 11 different hub and handle fittings so it connects to your existing syringes, infiltration pumps, or power-assisted handpieces. It is used by plastic surgeons, facial plastic surgeons, dermatologic surgeons, and aesthetic clinics, and is supplied in bulk to distributors and hospital groups worldwide.
Surgeons also refer to these instruments as facelift infiltrator cannulas, tumescent infiltration cannulas, facial fat transfer cannulas, or simply infiltrator needles.
At a Glance
Infiltration cannulas deliver fluid rather than remove it. The distal tip is closed and rounded so it separates tissue planes without cutting vessels or nerves, and side ports along the shaft spread the solution evenly instead of pooling it at one point. In facelift work this gives hemostasis, hydrodissection of the subcutaneous plane, and local anesthetic distribution in a single pass.

Each cannula is made from German stainless steel with a smooth passivated surface that resists corrosion and pitting through repeated cleaning cycles. The cannulas are reusable and can be steam autoclaved at 134°C. Clean immediately after use, flush the lumen and side ports, and dry fully before autoclaving to protect the finish.
Diameter controls flow rate and how much tissue the cannula displaces; length controls reach. For facelift and facial work, the 1.0mm to 1.5mm diameters in 5cm to 12cm lengths are the usual range, because they pass through thin facial subcutaneous tissue with minimal trauma. The 1.8mm to 2.5mm range in 15cm to 25cm suits neck, submental and small body areas. The 3.0mm to 6.0mm diameters in 25cm to 35cm are for large-volume body infiltration, not facial work. Choose the fitting that matches the equipment already in your theater — Luer lock for syringe and pump tubing, Toomey hub for 60cc fat transfer syringes, and a power handle or system-compatible hub if you use power-assisted infiltration.

What is a facelift infiltration cannula used for?
It is used to inject tumescent or wetting solution into the subcutaneous plane of the face and neck before a facelift, facial liposuction, or fat grafting. The blunt tip and side ports spread fluid evenly through the tissue, which provides hemostasis, hydrodissection of the plane, and local anesthetic distribution before the surgeon begins dissection.
What is the difference between an infiltration cannula and an aspiration cannula?
An infiltration cannula delivers fluid into tissue; an aspiration cannula removes fat under vacuum. Infiltration cannulas are narrower, have many small side ports for even fluid spread, and connect to a syringe or pump. Aspiration cannulas have fewer, larger ports designed to draw fat and connect to a vacuum handle and suction line.
Are these infiltration cannulas autoclavable?
Yes. All Healermed infiltration cannulas are reusable and can be steam autoclaved at 134°C. Flush the lumen and side ports with clean water immediately after use, remove all residue before sterilization, and dry the cannula fully. This protects the passivated German stainless steel surface and prevents staining or pitting over repeated cycles.
Which cannula size should I use for a facelift?
For facelift and facial infiltration, cannulas in the 1.0mm to 1.5mm diameter range with 5cm to 12cm working lengths are the usual choice, because thin facial subcutaneous tissue needs a small-diameter cannula to avoid contour irregularity. Larger diameters from 1.8mm upward and lengths above 15cm are intended for neck and body infiltration.
What is the minimum order quantity for bulk orders?
The minimum order quantity is agreed per order rather than set at a fixed number. Send us the sizes, fittings and quantities you need through the wholesale request page and we will confirm the minimum for that specification. This lets a small distributor start with a trial order and a larger importer scale up on the same terms.
Do you provide samples?
Yes. Samples are available on request and the buyer covers the shipping charges. Tell us the diameter, length and fitting you want to evaluate and we will confirm what can be sent. Testing a sample before a bulk order is the fastest way to check tip finish, port pattern and hub fit against your own equipment.
