Accelerator Three Port Liposuction Cannulas in German Stainless Steel
On most multi-port cannulas the opening nearest the hub does more of the work, because it has the shortest path to the vacuum. Grading the ports along the shaft evens that out, so the whole aperture draws instead of mostly the back of it.
How the Accelerator Port Pattern Works
Three ports along the shaft, graded rather than identical: the openings step up in size from the leading port back toward the hub. That grading is what the name refers to, and it changes how fat moves through the cannula rather than simply how much comes out.
On a conventional multi-port cannula every opening is the same size, and the port nearest the hub has the shortest, easiest path to the suction line. It draws preferentially, while the leading port, furthest from the vacuum, does least of the work. Grading the ports compensates: the smaller leading opening sits where suction is strongest and the larger trailing opening where it is weakest, so all three draw at a more even rate.
The practical effect is that the whole aperture works rather than mostly the back of it. Fat enters along the full working length instead of piling into the rear port, which keeps the lumen supplied steadily and reduces the surging that happens when one opening dominates and then blocks.
Three ports keeps it controllable. This is a working cannula for the main phase of a case, not a debulking instrument, and the even draw is what makes it predictable pass after pass. The distal tip is closed and rounded, separating the plane by blunt dissection while the vacuum works through the three graded side ports.

How to Choose a Size
Diameter sets how much fat comes out per pass and length sets the reach. For body contouring of the abdomen, flanks, back and thighs, the 3.0mm to 4.0mm diameters in 25cm to 35cm are the usual working range and where the graded pattern is used most.
