How the Double Mercedes Pattern Works
A standard Mercedes tip carries three ports set around the shaft at roughly 120 degrees. This cannula carries two of those groups, one behind the other along the shaft, giving six ports in total.
Doubling the group does not simply double the flow. Because each trio is symmetrical in its own right, the vacuum load stays balanced across the shaft exactly as it does on a single Mercedes, so the cannula still tracks straight and does not pull to one side. What changes is the length of the working aperture: removal now happens over a longer stretch of shaft rather than in one narrow band near the tip.
