The Facelift Infiltration Cannula with Grooved Power Handle is a blunt-tip, side-ported cannula fitted with a machined grooved grip, used to deliver tumescent or wetting solution into subcutaneous tissue before facelift dissection, liposuction, or fat grafting. The grooves give a secure hold when the surgeon's gloves are wet with prep solution or tumescent fluid, which is the point at which a smooth handle starts to slip. It is used in aesthetic surgery centers and supplied in bulk to distributors worldwide. See the full Facelift Infiltration Cannulas range for other fittings.
Buyers also search for this instrument as a grooved grip infiltration cannula, a ribbed handle infiltrator, or a non-slip handle tumescent cannula.
At a Glance
Grip loss is a practical problem in infiltration, not a cosmetic one. The surgeon works with wet gloves against tissue resistance, and a slipping hand changes the depth and direction of the pass. Machined grooves running around the handle give the fingers a defined purchase, so grip pressure can stay light and the pass stays even.

The instrument is German stainless steel with a passivated, corrosion-resistant surface. It is reusable and steam autoclavable to 134°C. Flush the lumen and side ports immediately after use. Pay attention to the grooves during cleaning: recessed grip surfaces hold residue more readily than smooth ones, so brush them before the instrument goes into the autoclave.
Choose the grooved handle if your surgeons work long infiltration sessions or over large surface areas, where hand fatigue and grip slip build up. For short facial cases, a smooth fixed handle or a plain Luer lock version is usually enough. Diameter and length follow the same rule as the rest of the range: 1.0mm to 1.5mm in 5cm to 12cm for facial work, 1.8mm to 2.5mm in 15cm to 25cm for neck and small body areas, 3.0mm and above in 25cm to 35cm for large-volume body infiltration.

Other fittings in the same cannula range:
What is a grooved handle infiltration cannula used for?
It is used to infiltrate tumescent or wetting solution into subcutaneous tissue before facelift, liposuction, or fat grafting, with a machined grooved grip that stays secure when gloves are wet. The grip helps the surgeon keep passes even and reduces hand fatigue over long infiltration sessions.
What is the difference between a grooved handle and a smooth fixed handle?
Both are handles for the same cannula shaft; the difference is grip surface. A grooved handle gives more purchase with wet gloves and is preferred for long or large-area infiltration. A smooth fixed handle is easier to clean because there are no recessed surfaces to brush out.
Is this cannula autoclavable?
Yes. The instrument is fully reusable and can be steam autoclaved at 134°C. Flush the lumen and every side port with clean water immediately after use and brush the handle grooves before sterilization. Recessed grip surfaces trap residue more easily than smooth ones, so this step protects both hygiene and finish.
What is the minimum order quantity for bulk orders?
The minimum order quantity is agreed per order rather than set at a fixed number. Send us the sizes and quantities you need through the wholesale request page and we will confirm the minimum for that specification. This lets a small distributor start with a trial order and a larger importer scale up on the same terms.
Do you provide samples?
Yes. Samples are available on request and the buyer covers the shipping charges. Tell us the diameter and length you want to evaluate and we will confirm what can be sent. Handling a sample is the only reliable way to judge whether the grooved grip suits your surgeons before committing to a bulk order.
Can I order a custom size?
Yes. Custom diameters, working lengths, and port patterns are available on request in addition to the standard size grid. Send your specification through the wholesale request page and our production team will confirm what can be produced. Custom branding is also available for distributor and OEM orders.
