Liposuction Cannulas and Accessories › Mesh Filters for Nano Fat Transfer
Mesh filters for nano fat transfer set the particle size of the emulsified graft before it is injected. They are available in seven grades from 0.2mm to 0.8mm, so the surgeon can match the filtration to the injection cannula and the plane being treated. They fit the Healermed nano fat transfer sets and are part of the liposuction cannulas and accessories range.
At a Glance
One mesh size does not cover a face. Intradermal placement and subdermal fill need different particle sizes, and the cannula carrying the graft sets a hard upper limit on what will pass at all.
The mesh is the last thing the graft passes through before it reaches the syringe, and it sets the largest particle that can get any further. Everything downstream follows from that.
The injection cannula is the reason it matters. Nanofat is placed through very fine cannulas, and a particle wider than the lumen will not go through it. It stops, the pressure rises, and the surgeon is unblocking a cannula in the middle of a periorbital case. Filtering to a known size means what reaches the syringe is already smaller than what has to carry it.
The mesh also decides what the graft does in the tissue. A coarser emulsion retains more structure and gives more volume effect; a finer one carries less volume and is placed for skin quality rather than fill. Neither is better in the abstract. The choice follows the plane being treated and what the graft is meant to achieve there.
Filtering is not free either. Every pass through a finer mesh applies more mechanical stress to the tissue and yields less usable volume from the same harvest. Filtering finer than the case needs costs graft for no gain, which is why the range exists rather than a single universal size.
Seven grades, each matched to a different plane and cannula size.
| 0.2mm mesh Finest grade. Intradermal placement and the thinnest periorbital skin, through the smallest injection cannulas. |
| 0.3mm mesh Very fine emulsion for intradermal work and thin periorbital tissue. |
| 0.4mm mesh Between intradermal and general nanofat, for fine lines and superficial scar treatment. |
| 0.5mm mesh The general nanofat grade, used for most facial skin quality work. |
| 0.6mm mesh Slightly coarser emulsion where a little more volume effect is wanted. |
| 0.7mm mesh Subdermal placement through finer cannulas, retaining more structure than a true nanofat grade. |
| 0.8mm mesh Coarsest grade. Subdermal and transitional work between nanofat and microfat. |
| Material | Stainless steel mesh in a stainless steel frame |
| Mesh sizes | 0.2mm, 0.3mm, 0.4mm, 0.5mm, 0.6mm, 0.7mm, 0.8mm |
| Sold as | Individual grades or as a set |
| Compatibility | Healermed nano fat transfer sets, long and short pattern |
| Reusable | Yes — steam autoclavable to 134°C |
| Compliance | FDA CGMP, ISO 13485, ISO 9001, CE Mark |
The filters are stainless steel and fully reusable, steam autoclavable to 134°C. Flush immediately after every case, before emulsified fat dries into the mesh, and hold each filter to the light to confirm it is clear across its whole area. A partly blocked mesh raises the pressure the surgeon works against and quietly changes the particle size that gets through, which is a filtration failure that gives no warning. Check the frame and mesh for distortion at each cycle and replace rather than reuse a filter with a damaged or stretched mesh.

Manufactured by Healermed Instruments, a surgical instruments manufacturer and exporter based in Sialkot, Pakistan. Factory-direct pricing removes the importer and distributor layer. Production runs under an ISO 13485 and FDA CGMP quality system, with ISO 9001 and CE Mark certification. OEM manufacturing and custom branding are available for distributor and brand-owner orders.
| Nano Fat Transfer Set – Long Pattern Extended body, more shear per pass, for larger harvest volumes. |
| Nano Fat Transfer Set – Short Pattern Compact body, less resistance per pass, for small and moderate volumes. |
Which mesh size should I use?
Match it to the injection cannula and the plane. The 0.2mm to 0.4mm grades suit intradermal placement and thin periorbital skin. The 0.5mm grade is the general nanofat size for facial skin quality. The 0.6mm to 0.8mm grades suit subdermal placement where more structure and volume effect are wanted. A particle wider than the cannula lumen will block it, so the cannula sets the upper limit.
Does a finer mesh always give a better result?
No. Every pass through a finer mesh applies more mechanical stress to the tissue and yields less usable volume from the same harvest. Filtering finer than the plane requires costs graft for no gain. Choose the coarsest grade that will pass through the cannula you are using.
Do these fit my nano fat transfer set?
They fit the Healermed nano fat transfer sets in both the long and short pattern. If you are using another manufacturer's set, send us the dimensions and we will confirm before you order.
Are they reusable?
Yes. They are stainless steel and steam autoclavable to 134°C. Flush immediately after every case before emulsified fat dries into the mesh, and hold each filter to the light to confirm it is clear across its whole area before sterilizing.
Can I order individual sizes?
Yes. Filters are available individually or as a set. Specify the grades you need when ordering. For bulk and OEM orders, send your specification through the wholesale request page and we will confirm the minimum for that quantity.
