Power-assisted liposuction changes how force reaches the tissue. The cannula is made from German stainless steel with a passivated surface that resists corrosion and pitting through repeated cleaning cycles. It is reusable and can be steam autoclaved at 134°C. Flush the lumen and the opening with clean water immediately after use and dry fully before autoclaving. The three ports sit close together and at different points along the shaft, so turn the cannula while flushing and confirm water runs from all three before drying. Check each edge under light at every cycle, since the pattern only tracks straight while all three draw evenly.
