Liposuction Cannulas and Accessories › Deep Cut Liposuction Cannulas › Deep Cut Liposuction Cannula – BeautiFill Laser Compatible
The Deep Cut Liposuction Cannula with BeautiFill Laser Compatible fitting is a deep cut liposuction cannula is a sharpened release instrument with an extended cutting edge, used to divide fibrous septa, scar sheets and dense connective tissue during liposuction and body contouring. The longer edge divides along its whole run, so a broad scarred field is released in fewer passes than a short-edge dissector needs. It is listed under Deep Cut Liposuction Cannulas, part of the Healermed Liposuction Cannulas and Accessories range.
Surgeons also refer to these instruments as deep cut dissector cannulas, extended edge release cannulas, scar release liposuction cannulas, or fibrous band cutting cannulas.
At a Glance
Laser-assisted lipolysis systems deliver laser energy through the cannula as well as drawing fat through it, so the hub has to seat into the handpiece with the fibre path aligned and held. That is a tighter mechanical requirement than a syringe fitting: any play at the coupling affects alignment, not just vacuum. A cannula for this kind of system is machined to the handpiece rather than to a general standard.
A deep cut liposuction cannula carries a sharpened cutting edge that runs further along the working section than a standard dissector edge. It is a release instrument: it divides fibrous tissue rather than aspirating around it.
The length of the edge is the whole point. A short dissecting edge cuts one band at a time, so releasing a heavily scarred field means many small deliberate passes. An extended edge divides along its whole run, so a broad sheet of septa or a wide band of scar comes apart in fewer strokes. In secondary cases and dense gynaecomastia tissue that is the difference between a manageable release and a long one.
The same length is why it demands more control than any other instrument in the range. A longer edge means more cutting surface in contact with tissue at once, and a sharpened edge does not distinguish between a fibrous band and a vessel, a nerve or the dermis. It is used in the deep plane only, with the edge oriented away from the skin, advanced deliberately rather than pushed, and put down as soon as the release is achieved.
The edge is the instrument. Once it is dulled or nicked it tears tissue instead of dividing it, which is worse than a blunt cannula rather than better. Every deep cut cannula leaves our factory with the edge ground and inspected, and any instrument with a damaged edge should be taken out of service rather than sharpened locally.

The cannula is made from German stainless steel with a passivated surface that resists corrosion and pitting through repeated cleaning cycles. It is reusable and can be steam autoclaved at 134°C. Flush the lumen and the opening with clean water immediately after use and dry fully before autoclaving. Inspect the full length of the cutting edge under magnification at every cycle. A nicked or dulled section tears tissue instead of dividing it, and on a long edge a single damaged section is easy to miss. Take any instrument with a damaged edge out of service rather than sharpening it locally.
Order this fitting only if you own a BeautiFill laser system, and confirm the handpiece model with us before ordering; the hub will not fit a syringe or a manual handle. This is a release instrument rather than a contouring one, so size follows the tissue being divided rather than the volume being removed. The 3.0mm to 4.0mm diameters in 25cm to 35cm cover most broad fibrous release in body areas. The 2.0mm to 2.5mm range in 15cm to 25cm suits smaller and more defined bands. Whichever size you choose, it is used in the deep plane with the cutting edge oriented away from the skin, and put down once the release is achieved. Match the fitting to the handle or handpiece already in your theater.

What is a deep cut liposuction cannula used for?
It is used to divide fibrous septa, scar sheets and dense connective tissue in the deep plane during liposuction and body contouring, where a blunt liposuction cannula deflects off the tissue instead of releasing it. It is used under direct control with the cutting edge oriented away from the skin.
What is the difference between a deep cut cannula and a standard sharp dissector?
Both divide fibrous tissue with a sharpened edge. A standard dissector has a shorter edge and cuts one band at a time, which suits defined releases. A deep cut cannula has an extended edge that divides along its whole run, releasing broad sheets of scar in fewer passes, and correspondingly demands more control.
Is this cannula autoclavable?
Yes. The instrument is fully reusable and can be steam autoclaved at 134°C. Flush the lumen and the opening with clean water immediately after use, remove all residue before sterilization, and dry completely. Inspect the opening edge under light at every cycle, since edge condition decides how the cannula behaves in tissue.
Which size should I use?
The 3.0mm to 4.0mm diameters in 25cm to 35cm cover most broad fibrous release in body areas. Use 2.0mm to 2.5mm in 15cm to 25cm for smaller and more defined bands. Size follows the tissue being divided rather than the volume being removed, since this is a release instrument rather than a contouring one.
What is the minimum order quantity for bulk orders?
The minimum order quantity is agreed per order rather than set at a fixed number. Send us the sizes, fittings and quantities you need through the wholesale request page and we will confirm the minimum for that specification. This lets a small distributor start with a trial order and a larger importer scale up on the same terms.
Do you provide samples?
Yes. Samples are available on request and the buyer covers the shipping charges. Send us your handpiece and system details with the diameter and length you want to evaluate, and confirm compatibility with us before ordering. Testing a sample in your own handpiece before a bulk order is essential for any laser system fitting.
Can I order a custom size?
Yes. Custom diameters, working lengths and opening dimensions are available on request in addition to the standard size grid. Send your specification through the wholesale request page and our production team will confirm what can be produced. Custom branding is also available for distributor and OEM orders.
