Liposuction Cannulas and Accessories › Luer Lock Stainless Steel Handle
The Luer Lock Stainless Steel Handle for liposuction cannulas is a reusable German stainless steel handle with a female Luer lock at the cannula end. A plain Luer lock handle in stainless steel: female Luer lock at the front to take the cannula, a solid grip body, and no vent or rear connection. It is part of the Healermed liposuction cannulas and accessories range.
At a Glance
This is the base handle. The cannula screws into a female Luer lock at the front, and everything behind that is grip.
What a handle changes is where the surgeon's hand sits relative to the tissue. Driving a cannula by its hub means holding a narrow metal collar, which offers little purchase and transmits every vibration straight into the fingers. A handle puts a shaped body in the palm, so force is applied along the axis of the shaft rather than squeezed around it, and long passes stay straighter for less effort.
Because it has no vent and no rear port, the suction path is whatever the cannula and tubing provide. That suits a setup where vacuum is controlled at the machine or by a syringe, and where the surgeon wants nothing on the handle to think about.
A handle is the link between the surgeon's hand and the cannula, and it changes three things: grip, force direction and the suction path.
Grip first. A cannula hub is a narrow collar meant for connecting, not for holding. Gripping it means pinching a small diameter with wet gloves for hundreds of strokes, which tires the hand and lets the instrument turn when it should not. A handle gives a body sized for the palm, so grip pressure stays light and the cannula holds whatever orientation the surgeon set.
Force direction second. Held by the hub, force is applied around the shaft and the cannula wanders off line as resistance changes. Held by a handle, force runs along the axis, so the tip goes where the handle points and long passes stay straight for less effort.
Suction path third, and this is where the versions differ. A handle can be a plain grip, it can carry a vent under the thumb so the surgeon modulates vacuum at the hand, and it can terminate in a male Luer lock so it connects directly into the tubing or syringe. Those are not cosmetic options: they decide who controls the vacuum and how many joints sit in the line.
| Material | German stainless steel |
| Cannula connection | Female Luer lock |
| Configuration | Female Luer lock at the cannula end, closed body |
| Reusable | Yes — steam autoclavable to 134°C |

| Compliance | FDA CGMP, ISO 13485, ISO 9001, CE Mark |
The handle is made from German stainless steel with a passivated surface that resists corrosion through repeated cleaning cycles. It is reusable and can be steam autoclaved at 134°C. Flush the internal passage from both ends until the water runs clear, since aspirate passes through the handle as well as the cannula. Check the Luer thread for wear at every cycle: a worn thread leaks under vacuum, and a leak at the handle costs suction at the cannula where the surgeon cannot see it.

Manufactured by Healermed Instruments, a surgical instruments manufacturer and exporter based in Sialkot, Pakistan. Factory-direct pricing removes the importer and distributor layer. Production runs under an ISO 13485 and FDA CGMP quality system, with ISO 9001 and CE Mark certification. OEM manufacturing and custom branding are available for distributor and brand-owner orders.
| Stainless Steel Handle for Threaded Hub Liposuction Cannulas A stainless steel handle with a machined screw thread at the front, for cannulas made with a threaded hub rather than a Luer lock. |
| Stainless Steel Thumb Hole Handle A threaded hub handle in stainless steel with a vent hole under the thumb, combining a rigid screw-thread joint with suction control at the hand. |
| Luer Lock Stainless Steel Thumb Hole Handle A stainless steel Luer lock handle with a vent hole positioned under the thumb, so the surgeon modulates suction at the hand instead of at the machine. |
Why use a handle instead of holding the cannula hub?
A hub is a narrow metal collar with little purchase, and it transmits vibration straight into the fingers. A handle puts a shaped body in the palm so force runs along the axis of the shaft rather than being squeezed around it, which keeps long passes straighter for less effort.
Does this fit any liposuction cannula?
Match the handle to the cannula hub: Luer lock handles take Luer lock cannulas, threaded handles take cannulas made with a threaded fitting. A Toomey hub or a machine-specific hub does not use a handle of either type. Check the configuration line above for this handle.
Is it autoclavable?
Yes. It is fully reusable and steam autoclavable to 134°C. Flush the internal passage from both ends until the water runs clear, since aspirate passes through the handle as well as the cannula.
What is the minimum order quantity for bulk orders?
The minimum order quantity is agreed per order rather than set at a fixed number. Send us the configurations and quantities you need through the wholesale request page and we will confirm the minimum for that specification.
Do you provide samples?
Yes. Samples are available on request and the buyer covers the shipping charges. Handling a sample is the only reliable way to judge handle balance and grip before committing to a bulk order.
