The Standard Single Hole Liposuction Cannula with Stainless Steel Luer Lock is a blunt-tip aspiration cannula with one side opening, used to remove subcutaneous fat under vacuum. The hub is machined from solid stainless steel rather than a softer alloy, so the thread survives high-volume autoclave and cleaning cycles without wearing or discoloring. It is listed under Standard Single Hole Liposuction Cannulas, part of the Healermed Liposuction Cannulas and Accessories range.
This instrument is also known as a steel hub single hole cannula, an all-metal Luer lock one hole cannula, or a standard aspiration cannula.
At a Glance
Hub material decides how long a reusable cannula stays usable. Anodized aluminum hubs are lighter and cheaper, but the anodized layer can fade and the thread can gall after repeated steam cycles. A single hole cannula is used in almost every case, so it goes through more sterilization cycles than most of the tray, and hub durability shows up sooner.
One opening means the surgeon knows exactly where the fat is coming from. On a multi-port cannula the draw is spread along the shaft and the result is the sum of several openings working at once; the surgeon aims the instrument and reads the outcome afterwards. With a single hole, the aperture is a known point on a known side, and the removal happens there and nowhere else.
That precision is why the single hole cannula stays in the tray long after faster designs are bought. It is the instrument for the last ten percent of a case: taking down a small ridge, correcting one side that came out fuller than the other, or working a shallow pocket where a wider draw would take too much. It is also the standard teaching instrument, because the relationship between what the hand does and what the tissue does is direct enough to learn from.
The trade is speed. One opening moves less fat per pass than several, so a single hole cannula is the wrong tool for debulking a large area — that is what the multi-port designs are for. Most surgeons carry both and switch when the case moves from volume to refinement.
The distal tip is closed and rounded. It separates the plane by blunt dissection as the cannula advances, pushing vessels and nerves aside rather than dividing them, and the vacuum works through the side hole rather than the end of the shaft.

The cannula is made from German stainless steel with a passivated surface that resists corrosion and pitting through repeated cleaning cycles. It is reusable and can be steam autoclaved at 134°C. Flush the lumen and the hole with clean water immediately after use and dry fully before autoclaving. On a single hole cannula the edge of that one opening does all the work, so inspect it under light at each cycle: a nicked or dulled edge changes how the instrument behaves, and there is no second port to compensate.
Diameter sets how much fat comes out per pass and length sets the reach. For general body work the 3.0mm to 4.0mm diameters in 25cm to 35cm are the usual range, though a single hole cannula in those sizes is normally a finishing instrument rather than the one used for bulk removal. The 2.0mm to 2.5mm range in 15cm to 25cm covers arms, the neck and most correction work, which is where this cannula is chosen most often. The 1.0mm to 1.5mm diameters in 5cm to 12cm are for facial and submental work. Match the fitting to the syringe, vacuum line or handpiece already in your theater.

What is a stainless steel Luer lock single hole cannula used for?
It is used to remove subcutaneous fat under vacuum from one known point, with a solid steel hub that connects to standard Luer lock syringes and suction tubing. It is chosen where instruments are sterilized many times a day and hub durability matters as much as hole edge quality.
What is the difference between a single hole and a multi-port liposuction cannula?
A single hole cannula has one opening and removes fat from one known point; a multi-port cannula has several and clears volume faster from a wider area. Single hole suits precision work, small corrections and teaching. Multi-port suits debulking large areas where speed matters more than pinpoint control.
Is this cannula autoclavable?
Yes. The instrument is fully reusable and can be steam autoclaved at 134°C. Flush the lumen and the hole with clean water immediately after use, remove all residue before sterilization, and dry completely. Inspect the hole edge each cycle, since on a single hole cannula that one edge determines how the instrument performs.
What is the minimum order quantity for bulk orders?
The minimum order quantity is agreed per order rather than set at a fixed number. Send us the sizes, fittings and quantities you need through the wholesale request page and we will confirm the minimum for that specification. This lets a small distributor start with a trial order and a larger importer scale up on the same terms.
Do you provide samples?
Yes. Samples are available on request and the buyer covers the shipping charges. Tell us the diameter and length you want to evaluate and we will confirm what can be sent. A sample also lets you run the steel hub through your own sterilization protocol before a bulk order.
Can I order a custom size?
Yes. Custom diameters, working lengths and hole positions are available on request in addition to the standard size grid. Send your specification through the wholesale request page and our production team will confirm what can be produced. Custom branding is also available for distributor and OEM orders.
