The Walter Osteotome is a fine, straight surgical osteotome used for precise cutting and shaping of bone in oral, maxillofacial, and other small-bone procedures. This listing is for the 2mm straight fine pattern with an overall length of 19cm, made from German stainless steel. It is designed for surgeons and clinics that need controlled, narrow bone cuts, and it is part of our full range of Chisels & Osteotomes. Healermed Instruments supplies it both as a single instrument for practices and in bulk quantities for distributors.
Surgeons also refer to this instrument as a fine bone osteotome, straight osteotome, or mini osteotome.

A straight fine osteotome of this size is used wherever bone must be cut or contoured with precision in a limited space. Typical applications include oral and maxillofacial bone work, bone removal around tooth roots, and shaping of small bone segments in reconstructive procedures. The instrument is driven with a surgical mallet, and the narrow 2mm edge allows the surgeon to control both the line and the depth of the cut.
Every Walter osteotome is forged from German stainless steel, which holds a sharp cutting edge under repeated mallet impact and resists corrosion through repeated sterilization cycles. The instrument is fully reusable and can be steam autoclaved to 134°C using standard hospital reprocessing protocols.
Choose the 2mm blade for the finest, most delicate cuts where access is tight and only a narrow channel of bone must be divided. The 4mm and 6mm widths suit general small-bone cutting and contouring. Select the 9mm or 12mm widths when a broader cutting edge is needed to remove or shape larger bone sections. Many buyers order a graduated set of all five widths to cover the full range of cases.
