The Facelift Infiltration Cannula with Universal Luer Lock is a blunt-tip, side-ported cannula whose hub is machined to seat correctly across the range of Luer lock syringes and tubing sets found in most theaters. It delivers tumescent or wetting solution into subcutaneous tissue before facelift dissection, liposuction, or fat grafting. Buyers choose this fitting when their supply of syringes changes brand from one order to the next and a hub that only seats well on one brand becomes a daily problem. See the full Facelift Infiltration Cannulas range for other fittings.
Buyers also search for this instrument as a universal luer infiltrator, a multi-fit luer lock cannula, or a standard luer infiltration cannula.
At a Glance
Luer lock is a standard, but manufacturing tolerances differ between brands, and a hub cut to the tight end of the tolerance band can seat poorly on some syringes. A universal hub is machined to sit centrally in that band, so it locks properly across whatever stock is on the shelf that week. For a clinic that buys consumables from more than one supplier, this removes a recurring irritation.

The cannula is German stainless steel with a passivated, corrosion-resistant surface. It is reusable and steam autoclavable to 134°C. Flush the lumen and side ports with clean water immediately after use and dry fully before sterilization. Keep the hub thread clean; dried tumescent solution in the thread is the main cause of a Luer connection that stops seating properly.
Choose the universal hub if your syringe stock varies by brand or if you are supplying a hospital group where consumables are bought centrally. If you use one syringe brand consistently, the standard Luer lock version does the same job. If your instruments go through very heavy daily sterilization, the stainless steel Luer lock hub will outlast both. Diameter and length follow the usual rule: 1.0mm to 1.5mm in 5cm to 12cm for facial work, 1.8mm to 2.5mm in 15cm to 25cm for neck and small body areas, 3.0mm and above for large-volume body infiltration.

What is a universal Luer lock infiltration cannula used for?
It is used to infiltrate tumescent or wetting solution into subcutaneous tissue before facelift, liposuction, or fat grafting, with a hub machined to seat correctly across different syringe and tubing brands. Clinics that buy consumables from more than one supplier choose it so the same cannula works with whatever stock arrives.
What is the difference between a universal Luer lock and a standard Luer lock hub?
Both use the same threaded Luer connection. A universal hub is machined toward the middle of the tolerance range so it locks reliably on syringes from many brands, while a standard hub is cut to one target dimension and can seat loosely or tightly on some brands. Clinical performance is identical.
Is this cannula autoclavable?
Yes. The instrument is fully reusable and can be steam autoclaved at 134°C. Flush the lumen and every side port with clean water immediately after use, remove all residue before sterilization, and dry completely. Keeping the hub thread free of dried solution is what keeps the universal fit working across syringe brands.
What is the minimum order quantity for bulk orders?
The minimum order quantity is agreed per order rather than set at a fixed number. Send us the sizes and quantities you need through the wholesale request page and we will confirm the minimum for that specification. This lets a small distributor start with a trial order and a larger importer scale up on the same terms.
Do you provide samples?
Yes. Samples are available on request and the buyer covers the shipping charges. Tell us the diameter and length you want to evaluate and we will confirm what can be sent. Testing a sample against the syringe brands you actually stock is the fastest way to confirm the universal hub fits your supply.
Can I order a custom size?
Yes. Custom diameters, working lengths, and port patterns are available on request in addition to the standard size grid. Send your specification through the wholesale request page and our production team will confirm what can be produced. Custom branding is also available for distributor and OEM orders.
