The Three Port In Line Liposuction Cannula is a blunt-tip aspiration cannula with three round ports set in a single straight line along one side of the shaft, used to remove subcutaneous fat under vacuum during liposuction and body contouring. All three openings face the same way, so the surgeon aims the aperture by rotating the shaft and decides which plane the fat comes from. It sits in the Three Port In Line Liposuction Cannulas category, part of the wider Healermed Liposuction Cannulas and Accessories range, and is supplied in 11 hub and handle fittings and 84 diameter and length combinations worldwide.
Surgeons also refer to these instruments as in-line port cannulas, three hole in line lipo cannulas, single-side port cannulas, or linear port aspiration cannulas.
At a Glance
A radial port pattern removes fat from every side of the cannula at once, which is efficient but takes the plane choice out of the surgeon's hands. An in-line pattern gives it back. Every opening faces one way, so rotating the shaft decides whether this pass takes from the deep layer, the mid layer or close to the skin.
The three ports sit in one straight row along a single side of the shaft, evenly spaced and all facing the same way. That is the whole difference from a Mercedes tip, where three ports are spread around the circumference. Here every opening draws in the same direction at once.
The consequence is that the cannula is aimed rather than swept. Rotate the shaft and the whole aperture turns with it, so the surgeon decides exactly which plane the fat comes from — deep by turning the row down, superficial by turning it up. On a radial pattern that choice is not available, because some ports always face the skin and some always face the muscle.
Because the row runs along the shaft rather than around it, the working aperture is long. One pass draws from a strip of tissue rather than a point, which clears a defined lane quickly. The trade is that all the vacuum load sits on one side, so the cannula tends to pull toward the ports and the hand must hold the line. That is a fair trade for surgeons who want directional control and are used to correcting for it.
The distal tip is closed and rounded. It separates the plane by blunt dissection as the cannula advances, pushing vessels and nerves aside rather than dividing them, and the vacuum works through the three side ports rather than the end of the shaft.

The cannula is made from German stainless steel with a passivated surface that resists corrosion and pitting through repeated cleaning cycles. It is reusable and can be steam autoclaved at 134°C. Flush the lumen and every opening with clean water immediately after use and dry fully before autoclaving. Because all three ports sit on one side, hold that side down while flushing so water runs through each opening rather than past them, and check every port under light before sterilization.
Diameter sets how much fat comes out per pass and length sets the reach. For body contouring of the abdomen, flanks and thighs, the 3.0mm to 4.0mm diameters in 25cm to 35cm are the usual working range. The 2.0mm to 2.5mm range in 15cm to 25cm covers arms, the neck and superficial work. The 1.0mm to 1.5mm diameters in 5cm to 12cm are for facial and submental contouring. Match the fitting to the syringe, vacuum line or handpiece already in your theater.

What is a three port in line liposuction cannula used for?
It is used to remove subcutaneous fat under vacuum during liposuction and body contouring. Three ports in one line along a single side give a long working aperture that draws in one direction, so the surgeon aims the openings at the layer being treated and clears a defined lane in each pass.
What is the difference between an in-line port and a Mercedes tip cannula?
On a Mercedes tip the three ports sit around the circumference, so the draw is symmetrical and the plane is fixed by how deep the shaft sits. On an in-line cannula all three face one way, so rotating the shaft selects the plane. Mercedes tracks straighter; in-line gives directional control.
Is this cannula autoclavable?
Yes. The instrument is fully reusable and can be steam autoclaved at 134°C. Flush the lumen and every opening with clean water immediately after use, remove all residue before sterilization, and dry completely. Inspect each opening under light at every cycle, since edge condition decides how the cannula behaves in tissue.
What is the minimum order quantity for bulk orders?
The minimum order quantity is agreed per order rather than set at a fixed number. Send us the sizes, fittings and quantities you need through the wholesale request page and we will confirm the minimum for that specification. This lets a small distributor start with a trial order and a larger importer scale up on the same terms.
Which size should I use?
For body contouring of the abdomen, flanks and thighs, 3.0mm to 4.0mm diameters in 25cm to 35cm are the usual range. Arms, neck and superficial work suit 2.0mm to 2.5mm in 15cm to 25cm. Facial and submental contouring uses 1.0mm to 1.5mm in 5cm to 12cm.
Do you provide samples?
Yes. Samples are available on request and the buyer covers the shipping charges. Tell us the diameter, length and fitting you want to evaluate and we will confirm what can be sent. Testing a sample before a bulk order is the fastest way to check edge finish and hub fit against your own equipment.
Can I order a custom size?
Yes. Custom diameters, working lengths and port configurations are available on request in addition to the standard size grid. Send your specification through the wholesale request page and our production team will confirm what can be produced. Custom branding is also available for distributor and OEM orders.
